We’re recruiting for a Group Manager to join our team across three educational sites in Essex. This is a temp to perm opportunity, with the potential for a permanent contract after a successful 12-week period.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage operations and financial performance across 3 catering sites
• Engage regularly with clients and service users
• Oversee staff development, training, and team briefings
• Drive service excellence and implement new strategies
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain compliance with food safety standards
• Contribute to P&L reporting, contract negotiation, and business growth

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience at management level in contract catering or a similar environment
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Commercial acumen with a background in P&L management
• A proactive, flexible attitude with the ability to work independently
• A full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

• £19.35 per hour during the 12-week temporary period
• £34,000 per year once permanent
• Monday to Friday schedule – 40 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)
