We’re recruiting for a Group Manager to join our team across three educational sites in Essex. This is a temp to perm opportunity, with the potential for a permanent contract after a successful 12-week period.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage operations and financial performance across 3 catering sites
- Engage regularly with clients and service users
- Oversee staff development, training, and team briefings
- Drive service excellence and implement new strategies
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain compliance with food safety standards
- Contribute to P&L reporting, contract negotiation, and business growth
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience at management level in contract catering or a similar environment
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Commercial acumen with a background in P&L management
- A proactive, flexible attitude with the ability to work independently
- A full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
What’s In It For You:
- £19.35 per hour during the 12-week temporary period
- £34,000 per year once permanent
- Monday to Friday schedule – 40 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)
